Our Parent Governor Mr Andrew Woollin’s term of office has come to an end. Mr Woollin would like to continue for another term but we are required to send out nomination forms for the vacancy. We would like to thank Mr Woollin for all his hard work and support for the school during his term of office. Please see the attached information for further details.
Kirklees Summer Play Camp – A Fun Packed Camping Holiday for Children aged 9 – 12
The Summer Play Camps are running between 23rd July and 18th August at Woolley Edge Camp Site. The camp is for 4 days (3 nights) and costs £50, this includes coach travel and all meals. Accommodation is in tents sleeping on camp beds. The activites include, circus skills, sports, giant water slide, arts, crafts, archery and orienteering. If you would like further information / booking form, please contact the school office.

PFA Meeting – Tuesday 10th June at 7.30pm
Everyone welcome to come along to the next PFA Meeting on Tuesday 10th June at 7.30pm. Final arrangements will be discussed for the Summer Fayre. Volunteers are needed to help run stalls during the afternoon of the Fayre and also helpers needed to set up during the morning. Please contact the office or any PFA member if you are able to help. Huddersfield Town are holding Soccer Schools at Spen Valley Sports College and St John Fisher Catholic High School during the half term holiday. Please contact the school office for further information.

If your child is going to be absent from school due to illness or an unexpected appointment please contact the school office before 9.15am. Please note that the office is not open until 8.30am and there will be no one available to take your call before this time. Thank you.
Sponsored Event – Five Rings Challenge, Tuesday 20th May
On Tuesday 20th May all the children will be taking part in the ‘Five Rings Challenge’ sponsored event. There will be many Olympic events to choose from and the children will practise and take part in their favourite event. The children can be sponsored for every point scored or for a fixed amount. The money raised will be used to buy new stage blocks. Please sponsor your child and ask friends and family (no door to door approaches please). Thank you for your support. A sponsor form is attached.
School closes tomorrow Friday 2nd May at 3.15pm and re-opens on Tuesday 6th May at 8.50am. Dinner money for next week will be £6.60.
