Collecting your child after the Disco
To save congestion, please collect your child from the exits indicated below. Please note the disco ends at 6.30pm and the doors will not be open until that time.
Reception, Year 1 & 2  –           Main Entrance
Year 3 & 4                    –           New Delhi classroom
Year 5 & 6                    -           Ottawa Classroom

If you have more than one child to collect, please pick up your youngest first. Please take your child’s coat home with you after dropping them off at the disco as they easily get lost and are difficult to find with so many children in the hall. Please make sure that your child has an Asthma inhaler with them if they need one.
Thank you for your support.

Each year we lose a significant number of library and reading books. This causes difficulties as children may then have to share a guided reading book. It also costs school £500 approximately to replace lost books each year. Lost library and reading books will be charged at the full price. The children will still be reading in class as normal.

UNISON National Strike 16th and 17th July
You may be aware from press coverage that Unison has balloted its members for strike action. We have just received confirmation that the outcome of the national Ballot was in favour of strike action. We expect a National two day strike will go ahead on the 16th & 17th July 2008 and so I am alerting you to the possibility of disruption to classes on these days. It is not clear whether this could affect some classes in school or lead to the school closing. I am currently assessing the situation with senior colleagues, taking advice from the Local Authority particularly with regards to Health and Safety issues and will write to you again as soon as the position is clear.
