‘Auction’ at 1.30pm
A special event at this year’s Summer Fayre is an auction to be held at 1.30pm in the school hall. A list of the lots will be sent home next week with a slip so that you can make your bid before the event if you would prefer. We will have some great items on offer so get bidding!
If you know of anyone who runs a business who would like to donate a prize for the auction please get in touch.   Thank you.

WE URGENTLY NEED HELPERS! If you are able to help run a stall or help set up during the morning please contact Mrs Kirby. We particularly need help for the face painting stall which is very popular. If you have a talent for face painting your help would be greatly appreciated.

We look forward to seeing all the Fancy Dress entries, please arrive in school for 1pm for judging.

Thank you so much to everyone who has sent in items for the Summer Fayre. Please keep on sending them in. Anything you think will sell, or be suitable for a prize, would be gratefully received.

Cricket Festival (Yr6 & 5)
On the 5th of June some children from Year 5 & 6 went to Liversedge CC to take part in a festival. The team consisted of 10 players and 2 reserves. The players were:

James Ives, Nicholas Richardson, Christopher Swift, Ellie Walker, Ellena Roberts,
Michael Woollin, Ellis Poutney, Jack Edmond, Rachel Glaves, Arslan Cheema

We all tried our hardest and it showed throughout the tournament. There were five schools that took part however one school unfortunately got disqualified. So each school got to play three games each. Roberttown won all three of their games and went through to the final. This tournament will be held on the 19th of June. Further details will be sent home as soon as we receive them.

Ellena Roberts mum sent in some mars bars for the team to celebrate their victory.
