Contact Details Form
This week we are sending home Year 3’s original forms plus a new form for you to complete. There are a couple of additions to the new form that have been requested by the government. The form is double sided and all areas need to be completed. Please ensure that we have a few contact numbers in case of an emergency, numbers for Mum and Dad only are not always enough. Please take a few minutes to complete the form to enable us to have the most up to date information for your child. Please return the form by Wednesday 23rd April.  Thank you.

ICT – Online e-safety Presentation
An interesting presentation is available on line related to e-safety issues. It explains some of the risks and what parents can do to help their children be safe when on-line. The website is: http://www.childnet-int.org/seminar-flash/main.swf

Parking Outside School
As you are aware, we constantly have issues about parking outside school, parking on the zig-zag lines, parking too close to a road junction and blocking people’s driveways. We have had complaints about double parking on Commonside and parking too near the junction with Church Road, which is illegal. The access to Commonside needs to be clear to allow other vehicles through especially emergency vehicles. Please respect people’s property and do not park on gardens/land or block driveways. Please park safely in the interests of all our children and our close neighbours. Thank you for your support in this matter.
Tokens
Please continue to send in Nestle, Sainsburys and Tesco Tokens. Thank you.

Jam Jars
Please send in any empty jam jars to be used on the Jar Stall at the Summer Fayre. Thank you.

Family Learning Family Learning Event – Paris Class (Year 3) - Tuesday 29th April from
1.30pm until 3pm.
We have organised a Family Learning Event in the school hall on Tuesday 29th April. Parents/carers or extended family members of children in Year 3are invited to book a place to take part in this workshop session, with their child. Places are limited to 20 for this session and we would like a contribution of £1.00 per child for the session to go towards the cost of resources. Unfortunately, due to limited space, younger siblings are not able to attend the event. If you would like to book a place, please collect a form from the school office. Please return your slip together with the £1 contribution in a named envelope and a ticket will be returned to confirm your place.

Breakfast Club
Thank you to everyone who uses the Breakfast Club, it is very successful and numbers are increasing. So much so that Wednesdays and Fridays are extremely busy and we would appreciate it if you could pre-book for those days to enable us to arrange extra staffing if required. If you need to use the Breakfast Club unexpectedly on Wednesday and Friday you can still drop in but prior notice would be preferred.

Class Photographs
A proof and order form for your child’s class, School Council and Befrienders photographs are being sent home today. Please return your order to the school office by Wednesday 23rd April.   Any orders received after this date will incur postage and packing charges. Thank you.
