The School Council visit to Huddersfield Town Hall
School Council - Generation Green
We are taking part in Generation Green!
Generation Green is a British Gas funded scheme helping schools to be more eco friendly. We do this by earning leaves (points) we earn leaves by completing tasks, we are already an eco team.
On Thursday 15th January Councillor Margaret Bates invited us to hold a meeting at the town hall. When we arrived we were met by Councillor David Hall, then he showed us round the town hall. Then we got to hold a very exciting meeting in the council chamber. This was a very enjoyable opportunity for the school council, we hope to go back there and hold another meeting there sometime in the future.
