Our School Trips

As part of their topic about Henry VIII, New Delhi class (Year 4) visited the Royal Armouries in Leeds .

The children were invited to try on armour from different countries and ages.

This is a report of our day.

On the Tuesday 5th February Year4 (New Delhi), visited the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds, to find out even more about the Tudors
because their project at the moment is called talking of Tudors. They have already learnt a lot in class about Tudors and the houseline Tudor.

There were two activities going on at once for the school. The first activity was a workshop where the children could learn about and try on protective costumes. The second activity was to complete a quiz on Henry VIII witch covered the second floor.

At 12 o’clock the children went on to the 4th floor to eat their packed lunch witch they had brought from home. After lunch the children had a look around at anything to do with the Tudors.

They really enjoyed their selves!
